Renaissance Wellbeing Solutions is a branch of Renaissance Physical Therapy Arts + Wellness, a physical therapy practice that has been serving the New York tri-state area for 14 years. Renaissance Wellbeing Solutions is a workplace wellness company that provides support and solutions for employees and administrators. All programs offered can also be applied to activities outside the workplace. All programs are created and presented by licensed professionals who have years of experience in the topics they present. All programs are guided by evidence-based research to ensure efficacy. In addition, programs can be modified to meet the specific needs of employees and administrators. Providing research-based programs that can be modified, based on the needs of the organization, by licensed professionals, is what sets Renaissance Wellbeing Solutions apart. We provide optimal support and communication so that participants feel heard and seen and are empowered with tools to thrive.

Caryn Bregman
About the founder
In 2024 Caryn Bregman, PT, MS launched Renaissance Wellbeing Solutions as an extension of Renaissance Physical Therapy Arts + Wellness, which was founded in 2010. The formation of Renaissance Wellbeing Solutions resulted from Ms. Bregman spending years treating injuries that could have been prevented. Simple measures such as working in efficient alignment and addressing strength and mobility deficits in exercise and activities of daily living could have prevented many injuries. In addition, modifications in work-station set-up and scheduling of tasks have profound effects on mitigating and/or preventing injuries. Ms. Bregman has always been passionate about excellence in rehabilitative and preventive care. Ms. Bregman started Renaissance Physical Therapy Arts + Wellness to address individual rehabilitative and preventive needs of local and surrounding communities. Ms. Bregman is an orthopedic manual physical therapist specializing in orthopedic, sports and performing arts medicine. As a physical therapist Ms. Bregman has worked with athletes, professional dancers, actors, musicians, and the general public. Prior to opening Renaissance, Ms. Bregman worked with performers from many Broadway productions including West Side Story, Mary Poppins, Shrek the Musical, Spamalot, Billy Elliot, Thirteen, the Rockettes and more. Ms. Bregman also worked with dance company members and students of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Ms. Bregman is also currently an adjunct faculty member of Montclair State University, in the theater and dance department, where she oversees and plans injury prevention classes for dance and musical theater students.
Renaissance Physical Therapy Arts + Wellness continues to serve the general public, young and recreational athletes, dancers from Montclair State University and local dance schools, and has provided onsite physical therapy for many dance companies including Benjamin Millepied’s LA Dance Project, Akram Kahn Dance Company, Bill T. Jones, and the Richard Alston Dance Company at Peak Performance at Montclair State University. Renaissance has also worked with the tour of A Chorus Line and John Leguizamo’s Ghetto Klown at NJPAC. Renaissance Physical Therapy Arts + Wellness has also provided injury prevention programs for athletes and the general public.
Ms. Bregman completed her graduate work at Long Island University and has many post-graduate certificates in manual therapy and sports and dance medicine from the Institute of Physical Art, Northeast Seminars, Integrated Manual Therapy Solutions, the Hospital for Special Surgery and the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science. A former dancer, Ms. Bregman taught dance, fitness and Pilates for many years prior to becoming a physical therapist.
Ms. Bregman believes it’s important to maintain excellent communication with patients, clients and all those involved in wellbeing.
Ms. Bregman’s writing has appeared in the New York Times and in her blog, nopainexercise.com, which launched in 2014 to address exercising safely. Ms. Bregman is currently working on a video series and a book on this subject as well.
